This is us looking like we're really intrepid. In reality I was scared to death. Nigel kept trying to engage me in conversation via our headphones but I literally had gone spontaneously deaf and dumb. It was all I could do to just stay in my seat, hang on and hope for the best. I was also fretting that Dave our pilot might try a few cunning Tom Cruise moves or insist on me taking the controls for a go of the flying. I was also extremely ginger about leaning over for a good look at the view in case I somehow displaced the delicate weight balance and caused us to literally fall into the falls. In the end it was all quite sedate and by the time we came in to land, I was ready to try Tom's 360 downward spiral manoeuvre. What a pity there wasn't the time.
