This supreme fellow is the chief of his village of 5,000 locals. After a short speech about village life, he took us into the main event - his kitchen hut which was very, very dark, very very dusty and with a temperature of a sweltering 50 degrees. He showed us with great passion that he was curing some very scary looking animal parts on a high wire over an open fire pit. He went into great detail about how to cure a bite from a black mamba convinced he had the definite antidote - the gist of which was to take said cured animal parts and make half of them into a lovely meat smoothie to be drunk immediately before it gets cold and then make cuts all over the body and rub the remaining meat paste into the cuts. Though we admired his passion we can't see this making the menu at Boost.
